AURORA, Colo. — The Metropolis of Aurora is launching a brand new grant program that goals to help clear up an house with a reputation for crime.
The Aurora Safety and Security Grant Program launches Monday. Eligible corporations, nonprofits and neighborhood groups can apply and procure money in order to make safety and security upgrades.
The $3 million program has $500,000 earmarked for corporations alongside East Colfax Avenue between Yosemite Avenue and Peoria Avenue and between 14th and sixteenth avenues — an house additional typically generally called East Colfax.
Eligible East Colfax corporations will receive a $10,000 grant to arrange new cameras, lights, alarms or completely different safety measures.

Burke hopes the grant will encourage corporations to maintain.
